1. Introduction

Welcome to Uptown Roofing ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our roofing services and website located at uptownroofing.co. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Uptown Roofing provides residential roofing services including but not limited to:

• Roof installation and replacement
• Roof repair and maintenance
• Roof inspections and assessments
• Emergency roofing services
• Gutter installation and repair
• Siding installation and repair

3. Contracts and Estimates

All work performed by Uptown Roofing is subject to a written contract. Free estimates are provided for informational purposes and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during work.

Contracts become binding upon signature by both parties and receipt of any required deposit. Changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment schedules will be outlined in your service contract
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
• Final payment is due upon completion of work and customer approval
• Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in the contract
• We offer financing options through approved third-party lenders

5. Property Access and Safety

Customer grants Uptown Roofing reasonable access to the property for the duration of the project. We will make reasonable efforts to protect landscaping and personal property, but customers should remove or protect valuable items near work areas.

All work will be performed in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations. Customers are responsible for ensuring pets and children are kept away from work areas for safety reasons.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

Uptown Roofing provides warranties on workmanship and materials as specified in individual contracts. Material warranties are provided by manufacturers and will be transferred to the customer upon completion.

Warranty coverage excludes damage caused by acts of nature, normal wear and tear, or modifications made by others. Warranty claims must be reported promptly and in writing.

7. Insurance and Liability

Uptown Roofing maintains comprehensive general liability insurance. Proof of insurance will be provided upon request.

Our liability is limited to the cost of repairs or replacement of defective work. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or commercial loss.

8. Permits and Code Compliance

When required, Uptown Roofing will obtain necessary permits for roofing work. All work will be performed in compliance with local building codes and regulations. Additional costs for permits or code compliance modifications will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.

9. Weather Delays and Force Majeure

Project timelines may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. Uptown Roofing will not be liable for delays caused by such force majeure events. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize project disruption.

10. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel contracts within 72 hours of signing without penalty, provided no work has commenced. Cancellations after work begins may result in charges for materials ordered and work completed. Custom-ordered materials may not be returnable.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in the appropriate courts of Harris County, Texas.

13. Modifications to Terms

Uptown Roofing reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
